Flexible connectors are used in transmitting current across conducting mediums which are subjected to different motions caused by thermal expansion, vibration or operational movement etc. These flexible connectors are widely used in electrical distribution, switchgear and automobile industries providing maximum conductivity and minimum mill volt drop maintaining excellent flexibility.
Flexible connectors are manufactured in the range of 1 mm2 to 4000 mm2 with range up to 4000 Amps and are supplied using bare copper or tinned or silver plated braided/stranded wires with end terminals also either in Bare Copper or tinned or silver plated as per customer’s requirements.
Flexible Connectors are normally supplied in non-insulation design but on request it can be supplied with insulation sleeves of heat shrink, silicone, PVC, fiberglass etc.
Heavy duty Bus bar flexible connectors are manufactured using multilayered braids up-by-up or side-by-side to increase the current carrying capacity. This can be supplied from 250 Amps to 4000 Amps catering to Bus duct, switchgear and generator manufacturers.

MSS India has capacity to produce a wide range of forgings in copper and aluminium. Laminated flexibles are essential in the product design of Switchgear units. It provides a flexible connection between two make of break contacts. MSS India has achieved some special milestones in terms of flexible manufacturing. With the capacity to produce over 100,000 flexible connection per month, MSS India can cater to peak demands from our customers.
MSS has the ability to weld silver foils for better conductivity, brazed and welded joints for better connections.

With machines from manufactures like “Mazak” and “Citizen” MSS India has capability to turn and mill the parts in single setup which enables highest degree of precision and unmatched output compared to conventional turn-only machines. MSS is widely regarded for it’s precision and capacity to produce complex parts among the Switchgear manufacturers. MSS has capacity to produce parts as small as 50 grams to 30 KGS in copper.
MSS have two BOCHERT machines which can turnaround over 100 tons of copper per month. With this huge capacity and the state of the art bending machines. MSS has the ability to produce critical shapes like edge bending, twist bending so the customer has the flexibility in design.
MSS work with the customer at the design stage and provides input to the customer so space and material can be saved. MSS has achieved a level of trust with the customers to help them with their designs.
Apart from this MSS India has the capability of welding and brazing, which offers a wide range of choices for our customers.
MSS India has press (stamping) machines ranging from 60 tons to 260 tons. MSS India has tie-up with the tool manufacturers who are among the best in business to produce quality tooling which gives components with a high degree of precision and output. MSS has ability to produce a wide range of stamped parts. MSS also have dedicated clinching machine to clinch variety of clinch nuts and studs. MSS has capacity to produce over half a million press components per month.
